On April 13, 2026, Odesa State Agrarian University welcomed Zbigniew EKIERT, Agricultural Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kyiv and a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Poland.
During the meeting with Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Relations Tetiana NEBOHA and Head of the International Relations Department Andrii MAIEV, the main areas of the university’s activities were presented, including its educational and research work, as well as key aspects of the development of international cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the university’s successful experience of cooperation with Polish partners, namely the implementation of academic mobility programs with the University of Agriculture in Kraków.
For his part, Zbigniew EKIERT spoke about his activities aimed at promoting cooperation in the agricultural sector between Poland and Ukraine, building bridges between state institutions, organizing communication events and his experience in diplomatic work.
Both sides expressed their interest in further expanding the partnership and developing joint educational and research initiatives.
