The search, development and implementation of innovative methods in the learning process of modern universities is urgent for the educational environment. For successful results in this matter, it is appropriate to study the experience of colleagues from other countries regarding the development of updated approaches to teaching individual disciplines in a distance format due to the pandemic and the war. This approach involves the international cooperation of teaching staff and scientists for the exchange of knowledge, best practices and innovations in teaching methodology.
In this regard, representatives of several Ukrainian institutions of higher education (National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Poltava State Agrarian University, Odesa State Agrarian University, Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University)
in cooperation with the Swedish University of Life Sciences started work on the project “Learning under attacks – sustainable education at risk in Ukrainian universities” (Project No. 01236/2023).
The purpose of the project is to train teaching staff to create electronic educational materials using modern licensed programs, to improve individual educational materials. In addition, the project provides for the implementation of a number of innovations in the educational process, starting with the “flipped classroom” method.
The duration of this project is 24 months. The OSAU coordinator is Professor, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Ruslan Susol. In the scope of the project the exchange of students and teaching staff is provided. Odesa State Agrarian University is grateful to the Swedish Institute (SI) for the financial support and to all partners for the possibility of fruitful cooperation.
