The US Embassy to Ukraine Regional English Language Office, Scholars Without Borders presents a free online course for Ukrainian scholars who want to improve their written English for academic uses.
Online course Scholars Without Borders provides the possibility to improve English in order to be better integrated with the international scholarly community in their fields to present papers, publish articles, apply for international grants, etc.
A highly experienced specialist-grade English instructor with background working with international scholars will teach this course, with opportunities for extra small-group or one-on-one sessions.
Course duration: 3 months – beginning March 17, concluding at the end of June.
Mondays 18:00-20:00 (Kyiv time).
Application deadline: March 8 at midnight Kyiv time.
Eligibility:
- PhDs, Candidates or Doctors of Science
- Current graduate students who currently work or study at a Ukrainian institution of higher education. (Preference for applicants who are currently residing in Ukraine for their work or study.)
