In accordance with the Interinstitutional Agreement between Odesa State Agrarian University and the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” (Vukovar, Croatia), students of the Faculty of Economics and Management, specialty 073 “Management” Anastasiia ZHEKIU and Kateryna YEREMEIEVA participated in the training program for the implementation of academic mobility on the basis of the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička”.
“We sincerely thank OSAU for the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus + academic mobility program. During the three months of living in Vukovar, Croatia, we gained invaluable experience and felt unforgettable emotions. Although the University of “Lavoslav Ružička” was built recently, the training was conducted at a fairly high level.
This program gave us the opportunity to significantly improve our already acquired knowledge and skills, which will certainly be useful to us in the future.
For example, on trade marketing we developed our business idea in detail, starting from its mission, idea and goal to creating a logo and analyzing the market of competitors. Within the subject “Entrepreneurship” we have already calculated future investments, development and final income of our business idea. The study of “Transport Law in the European Union” gave us a clear understanding of the legal basis of each document, as well as certain patterns of functioning of the entire organizational and legal mechanism of European integration.
During our practice, we visited the port of Vukovar, where they kindly told us about all the intricacies of the operation of vessels and financial calculations.
Owing to the discipline “International Commercial Business” we gained priceless knowledge of the history and development of business.
Thanks to this experience, we became more confident in our abilities and capabilities, we realized that studying abroad is not as difficult as it seems. We are sincerely grateful for this opportunity, which fundamentally changed our vision of learning, the world and ourselves”.
