On March 27, seminar on the results of the implementation of academic mobility by OSAU students at the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička”, (VEVU, Vukovar, Croatia) was held. The event initiated by the Faculty of Economics and Management was attended by Vice-rector for scientific work and international relations Tetiana Neboha, the OSAU staff and students, as well as representatives of Uman National University of Horticulture. The main speakers were Lesia Mazur, Alina Yarym and Tetiana Pirniak, who successfully completed their studies at the Croatian partner university on November 16, 2023 – March 1, 2024.
At the beginning, the moderator -Tetiana Matsiievych, acting Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management told about the history of the Erasmus+ educational program, its implementation and practical results.
At the seminar the participants of the academic mobility presented the information about Vukovar and its dynamically developing young university, the specifics of the educational process, conditions for participation in the program, cultural events, etc.
The academic mobility program provided for the study of 6 disciplines. The training was conducted in English. 
In addition to the theory, students had the opportunity to apply their skills in practice. Furthermore, the representatives of the university joined the activities of the Ukrainian cultural and educational society “Ivan Franko” in Vukovar, which has been working on the preservation and popularization of Ukrainian culture since 2003. They got acquainted with the work of the society, its organizational structure, financial situation and took part in the implementation of cultural projects.
After the presentation, the participants of academic mobility answered numerous questions related to various aspects of the international program.
Due to the successful implementation of academic mobility the OSAU representatives familiarized with the education system in Croatia, worked in an international environment, learnt about student’s life at VEVU, and met friends from different countries.
Andrii Maiev, the Head of the Department of International relations complimented the participants for an interesting and useful presentation, and noted that due to the efforts of the OSAU administration and interaction with foreign partners, international cooperation is constantly developing at our institution offering new opportunities for academic mobility.
The successful realization of the training program for OSAU students is one more step within practical implementation of the Inter-institutional agreement on academic mobility (Erasmus+, direction KA1) with the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička”. The Croatian partners noted the successful academic mobility and expressed readiness for further cooperation with OSAU within the framework of the universities consortium.
