On January 20 – 25, 2025 Ruslan SUSOL, Professor of the Department of Technology of Production and Processing of Animal Husbandry Products of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Biotechnology and Aquaculture and Inna ZHUNKO, Head of the Multidisciplinary Laboratory of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant of the Department of Infectious Pathology, Biosafety and Veterinary-Sanitary Inspection by V. Ya. Atamas, as part of the international project LEARNSAVE “Learning under attacks – sustainable education at risk in Ukrainian universities (project No. 01236/2023)” from the SI Baltic Sea Neighborhood Programme – special call for Ukraine grant program, visited Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Uppsala.
The TAEL (Teaching Active E-Learning) course was aimed to provide the skills needed for effective implementation of active e-learning strategies in university teaching. The course focused on improving interaction and student-centered learning in an online environment.
The OSAU representatives got acquainted with different learning models, special attention was paid to the flipped classroom methodology; explored the methods of high-quality video production for teaching, visited the video and audio recording studio “Studio Ultuna” SLU, where they were interviewed; created films for using in the educational process; improved their knowledge of artificial intelligence use in education and found out how to make flipped learning more accessible to various higher education students. During the visit, the steps for further cooperation within the framework of the mentioned project were discussed. A preliminary agreement was reached on conduct of guest online lectures by Ukrainian researchers for students of Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
