On 1 October 2026 Odesa State Agrarian University hosted the plenary session of the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference for Academic Staff and Young
Researchers “Actual Issues of Science and Education Development”. The event brought together representatives of the Ukrainian academic and educational community, international partners, researchers, academics, lecturers and young scholars.
The conference participants were welcomed by Mykhailo BROSHKOV, Rector of Odesa State Agrarian University; Tetiana NEBOHA, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Relations; representatives of leading research institutions and higher education institutions of Ukraine; as well as international partners who are co-organisers of the conference.
During the plenary session, participants presented research findings and practical developments addressing pressing issues in contemporary science. The presentations were delivered by:

The presentations generated lively interest among the participants and prompted active discussion and professional exchange of views.
On 2 October 2026, the conference continued with sectional sessions, where participants presented the results of their research across the following key areas:
- Veterinary Medicine. Veterinary Hygiene, Sanitation and Expertise
- Technology of Livestock Products Production and Processing
- Agricultural Engineering
- Geodesy and Land Management
- Plant Protection and Quarantine. Gardening and Viticulture
- Accounting and Taxation. Management
Key Areas of Discussion
The conference participants highlighted the importance of:
- developing new mechanisms for the recovery and sustainable development of Ukraine’s economy;
- advancing the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the agricultural sector;
- strengthening international research and educational partnerships;
- attracting international technical assistance to support the development of the agricultural economy;
- adapting natural ecosystems and agriculture to wartime and climate-related challenges;
- promoting modern areas of agricultural production, including fisheries, aquaculture and dairy farming;
- supporting young researchers and creating opportunities for their participation in international research activities.
The VI International Scientific and Practical Conference provided an important platform for professional dialogue, the presentation of contemporary research and the exchange of knowledge and experience between Ukrainian and international partners. The event reaffirmed the importance of international cooperation, academic communication and the implementation of innovative approaches to advancing science, education and Ukraine’s agricultural sector.
