In June 2026, two students from the Faculty of Economics and Management of Odesa State Agrarian University – Albina PENIUSHKINA (“Economics”) and Karina MIRCHA (“Management”) participated in an Erasmus+ International Summer School hosted by Karadeniz Technical University in Trabzon, Türkiye.
The programme was organised in two stages: an online component held from 8 to 12 June 2026, followed by an on-site programme from 15 to 25 June 2026. The programme aimed to strengthen participants’ professional competencies, foster intercultural communication, and provide hands-on experience in an international academic environment.
Throughout the programme, the OSAU students attended specialised lectures delivered in English, completed practical assignments, and actively participated in group projects, discussions and presentations. Working alongside students from Morocco, Kazakhstan and Georgia and collaborating in multicultural teams, they exchanged ideas, and developed valuable intercultural, communication and teamwork skills while exploring contemporary approaches to higher education.
During their stay at Karadeniz Technical University, the participants of the international programme explored the University’s modern teaching and research facilities, including laboratories, the library, and research centres, gaining valuable insight into its academic environment.
Successful completion of the Erasmus+ Summer School was recognised with internationally acknowledged certificates, marking another important milestone in the students’ academic and professional development.
