International Meeting on Climate Adaptation and Coastal Ecosystem Protection
Odesa State Agrarian University joins partner institutions and international experts for a strategic meeting focused on enhancing coastal resilience in the Black Sea region, which will be organized by Ovidius University (Constanța, Romania).

- Unveiling of cutting-edge remote sensing techniques for coastal ecosystem monitoring

October 23 | On-Site Research and Strategic Planning
- Practical examination of coastal restoration sites in Constanța area
- Collaborative evaluation of nature-based adaptation strategies with local specialists
- Exploration of regional natural heritage and coastal infrastructure
- Working session on future implementation roadmap
- Final deliberations on transnational collaboration framework
This initiative represents a significant step toward implementing science-based climate adaptation solutions across Black Sea coastal communities through international partnership and shared expertise.
The project is being implemented between July 26, 2024, and January 25, 2027, and has a total value of €1,594,728, of which €1,435,255.20 is funding provided by the European Union through the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Program. As a partner, Odesa State Agrarian University receives EU funding of 143.872,20 euros.
