A new issue of the newsletter “Stage 1: Synthetic Description of Samples Collected and Analysed in Romania” has been published as part of the international project SMS RO-UA ROUA00136. As a reminder, our university is a partner in this project.
This edition presents the results of the first sampling campaign conducted by the Veterinary Sanitary and Food Safety Directorate of Tulcea. It covers laboratory analyses across areas: African Swine Fever (ASF), Avian Influenza (AIV), and Leptospirosis and West Nile Virus (WNV). All field and laboratory activities were carried out in accordance with the ROUA00136 project methodology and WOAH standards, and the findings contribute significantly to assessing the epidemiological situation in the Danube Delta region and developing the joint Romania–Ukraine cross-border monitoring system.
