On July 15-19, 2024 the lecturer of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences Mariia Kholod visited the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” (VEVU, Vukovar, Croatia) under the ERASMUS+ STT MOBILITY PROGRAM JOB SHADOWING 2024 international program.
As part of the academic mobility program, Mariia Kholod got acquainted with the activities of the university, the library and methods of teaching foreign languages. In addition, during the internship the OSAU representative had the opportunity to meet and communicate with the Erasmus+ program coordinator Karolina Novinc, and the lecturers of the Croatian university.
The participants of the event presented their educational institutions and held a round-table discussion “Strengthening internationalization with partner institutions”.
During the academic mobility, agreements were reached on:
– cooperation between OSAU and New York University in Tirana (Albania);
– participation of OSAU research and teaching staff in the conference “Physiotherapy in Sports, Recreation and Wellness”, which will be held on November 28-29, 2024 at the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička”;
– an invitation to the Croatian partner institution to act as a co-organizer of the ІV
International Scientific and Practical Conference for academic staff and young researchers “Actual issues of science and education development” on October 24-25, 2024;
– organization of online round-table discussion on the features of inclusive teaching and assessment of foreign languages in Ukraine and Croatia within the framework of cooperation of the OSAU Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and the Department of General Subjects of the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar.
