On February 21, 2024 the online interdepartmental seminar on: “Internship under the ERASMUS + program at the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička“, Vukovar, Croatia ” was held. The event, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Management, brought together the OSAU teaching staff and students, as well as scientists of Uman National University of Horticulture.
Vice-rector for scientific work and international relations Tetiana Neboha, Head of International Relation Department Andrii Maiev, Head of the Management Department Halyna Zapsha addressed the audience with the welcoming words. The importance of international cooperation of higher education institutions in the modern world was stressed, and the effectiveness of the implementation of academic exchanges within the framework of OSAU cooperation with foreign universities was especially emphasized.
Associate professor of the Department of Management Mariia Levina-Kostiuk was main speaker of the seminar. She told about her internship at the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička“, Vukovar. The internship took place in the period 22 – 26 January in accordance with the Inter-institutional Agreement on the implementation of academic mobility under the European Union ERASMUS+ educational program. In particular, the information on the receiving university, the internship program, lectures for Croatian students, established contacts, competitive selection was presented.
After the speech, the participant of academic mobility answered the questions from the audience. The moderator of the event – Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Tetiana Matsiievych, thanked the speaker for an interesting and meaningful report and expressed hope for a further participation of academicians in international academic mobility programs.
The interdepartmental seminar is an effective mechanism for disseminating the results of academic mobility under the ERASMUS+ program and informing a wide range of scholars about opportunities to join international activities.
