On March 19–20, 2025, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Affairs of National University Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Valerii NAUMYK, paid a working visit to Odesa State Agrarian University (OSAU).
During the visit, the representative of the partner university met with Acting Rector of OSAU, Professor Mykhailo BROSHKOV. Professor NAUMYK was introduced to the history of OSAU, its faculties and specializations, as well as the key achievements of the university’s academic community. The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening scientific cooperation and the participation of Ukrainian higher education institutions in international projects.
A working meeting was also held with the participation of OSAU’s Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Relations, Tetiana NEBOHA, and staff members of the International Relations Department. The parties exchanged experience on conducting research activities, fostering collaboration with foreign partners, and implementing international projects. In particular, a preliminary agreement was reached regarding the participation of representatives from National University Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic in OSAU’s annual scientific and practical conference.
Special attention was given to the effective cooperation within the framework of the international DILLUGIS project, which enables Ukrainian academic staff and students to take part in English-language online courses offered by the East Bavarian Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden (Germany). The continuation of this project is planned, subject to funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Professor NAUMYK also visited the student R&D center, where, with the support of university leadership, scientific and communication events are held, and innovative, creative ideas from students are actively implemented.
As a result of the visit, both parties agreed to continue bilateral cooperation aimed at enhancing the quality of education and promoting research activities.
