INFORMATION EVENT
“GRANT OPPORTUNITIES OF THE NATIONAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION
OF UKRAINE AND SUPPORT TOOLS WITHIN HORIZON EUROPE PROGRAMME”
On September 03-05, 2024 the information event “Grant opportunities of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and support tools within Horizon Europe Programme”, organized by the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, was held in Odesa.
For three days, the NRFU team led by Olga Polotska, Executive Director talked about the benefits and conditions of participation in projects from both the National Research Foundation and Horizon Europe.
The representatives of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine presented the potential aspects of the Horizon Europe Program, including legal and financial ones, and shared valuable knowledge with scientists, researchers and innovators.
Within the event the information regarding participation in the program, organizational support, legal aspects, financial support, opportunities for Ukrainian partners and researchers was provided.
In total, about 150 participants joined the information event online and attended in person.
Odesa State Agrarian University was represented by Tetiana Neboha – Vice-rector for scientific work and international relations, Kateryna Rodionova – Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Anna Kryvenko – Head of the Department of Plant Protection, Genetics and Breeding.
The practical results of this event may be an increase in the number of project applications from Ukrainian researchers.
At the end of the meeting, specialists of the National Research Foundation answered the audience’s questions, the results were summed up and the basic guidelines, to strive for, were indicated.
The participants sincerely thanked the NRFU representatives for meaningful and interesting information and expressed hope for further cooperation.
