Geodesist is a specialty, having mastered which it will be possible to work in the direction of land accounting and distribution. More specifically, such a specialist deals with land surveying and topographic surveys of land. In the old fashioned way, it is also called a “surveyor” – one immediately recalls a man with a huge wooden standard resembling a pair of compasses, who is walking across the field, measuring the area.
Now, the average salary of surveyors is higher than the average salary in Ukraine by more than 30% and continues to grow.
Surveyor – doesn’t that sound prestigious? I don’t give a damn when you earn more than $ 700 a month, because the money doesn’t smell. Of course, you can go to study in other specialties and then look for work, competing with thousands of similar graduates. There are a lot of lawyers and economists now, so it will be quite difficult to occupy such a niche, and if you graduate from the OSAU with a specialization in surveying, you will be 100% employed.
