Odesa State Agrarian University is pleased to to report an important implementation milestone of the project “Harnessing Algae Power for Pollution Reduction and Blue Growth” (project acronym – AlgaeRevive, project code – BSB00091) within the framework of the (Interreg VI-B) NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, co-funded by the European Union.
OSAU established shared distributed scientific infrastructure by purchasing of equipment and making restorations in the premisses for establishment of the Black Sea Algae Knowledge Hub. Now, in addition to the equipment available at the University, we have:
- pH-meter/ORP-meter/Conductometer/TDS-meter/saltmeter,
- laboratory device with a magnetic stirrer for analyzing water parameters,
- oximeter,
- smartphone microscope (digital mini portable microscope),
- binocular microscope with the possibility of photo and video shooting,
- digital turbidimeter,
- digital refractometer,
- analytical scales,
- portable photoelectric water analyzer (photometer),
- photobioreactor,
- phytolamps,
- NIR spectrometer,
- Ultrasonic extractor of plant components
Of course we have also consumables for them and furniture, so thanks to the (Interreg VI-B) NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme and perfect consortium of AlgaeRevive – BSB00091 we will have opportunity to foster our scientific work in the field of algae.
