DILLUGIS PROJECT

DILLUGIS (Digital Labs & Lectures for Ukrainian, German & International Students). Project implementation: with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) within the programme “Ukraine Digital: Ensuring

Academic Success in Times of Crisis.” The project became an important step in strengthening academic cooperation between Ukraine and Germany, providing Ukrainian students and academic staff with the opportunity to continue online learning and teaching during the war.

Implementation period: 2022 – 2024

Due to the Project, over 600 students from 6 Ukrainian universities were able to continue their studies by participating in more than 30 digital courses and modules in Information Technology and Business Management offered through the Digital Technology and Management programme at OTH Amberg-Weiden. Ukrainian professors also actively contributed to the project, gaining new skills in digital teaching and enhancing their professional qualifications.

The Ukrainian-German Learning Weeks conducted over the three-year period enabled students from both countries to take part in intensive courses and collaborate in intercultural teams. Several workshops and webinars were also held for teaching and administrative staff, providing opportunities for experience exchange and the advancement of digital teaching methods.

 

July 11-12, 2023, Amberg-Weiden, Germany

Odesa State Agrarian University took part in the “Workshop for Teachers: Digital Technologies in the Educational Process,” held at the East-Bavarian Technical University of Amberg-Weiden within the framework of the DAAD initiative “Ukraine Digital: Ensuring Academic Success in Times of Crisis.” The aim of the event was to exchange experience, foster networking, and conduct benchmarking on the implementation of digital technologies at universities in Germany and Ukraine as a basis for the further improvement of the educational process. The key objectives of the workshop included: familiarization with current trends in the digitalization of education at German and Ukrainian universities; presentation of successful projects and digitalization tools for educational processes at the universities participating in the DILLUGIS project; exchange of experience and benchmarking of the use of digital technologies among the participating universities. OSAU was represented at the event by Mariia LEVINA-KOSTIUK, Assistant of the Department of Management, PhD in Economics and Krystyna PAVLENKO-DIDUR, PhD student.

September 30 – October 7, 2023, Amberg-Weiden, Germany

As part of the DILLUGIS project, the East-Bavarian Technical University of Amberg-Weiden hosted the Ukrainian-German Teaching Week, during which six lecturers from three Ukrainian universities (OSAU, National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” and National Technical University of Ukraine “ Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”) delivered lectures to German and Ukrainian students in a blended format. From OSAU, Mariia LEVINA-KOSTIUK, Associate Professor of the Department of Management, PhD in Economics – taught the course “Internet Marketing” and Nataliia TELICHKO, Associate Professor of the Department of Management, PhD in Economics – taught the course “Project Management”.

Approximately 40 international students studying at the East-Bavarian Technical University of Amberg-Weiden and over 100 Ukrainian students participated in the courses.

September 28 – October 5, 2024

Ukrainian-German Teaching Week for teachers and students (online).

The training was conducted in English within the framework of academic mobility. Tetiana HREKOVA, Lecturer of the Department of Management and Svitlana NASAKINA, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, participated in the teaching week for the course “Communication in IT Projects.” Lectures and practical sessions were conducted using modern teaching methods and various forms of learning activities. Particularly valuable and useful were the constructive discussions during workshops and interactive sessions. Participation in such a project provides a unique opportunity to acquire up-to-date knowledge, skills and competencies.

November 19-21, 2024, Amberg-Weiden, Germany

Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Relations Tetiana NEBOHA participated in the international workshop “Digital Technologies in Educational Process Management”, which was held at the East-Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden. Tetiana NEBOHA made a presentation “Digitalization and innovations in Odesa State Agrarian University in the context of modern challenges” on the main areas of the university’s activities, international cooperation, the introduction of digital technologies and artificial intelligence into the educational process, and had the opportunity to get acquainted with successful practices of automation of management processes and digital transformation. Opportunities for developing cooperation within the DILLUGIS project were discussed, namely: implementation of new partnership programs, increasing academic mobility and creating joint online courses.
