As a result, graduates have a wide range of employment opportunities:
- in canine clubs (centres);
- as handler or expert at the exhibition of dogs;
- as cinematographer in the customs departments of the Ukrainian Fiscal Service;
- in the canine units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- as a trainer in the sports canine centres;
- as a paramedic in veterinary clinics;
- as a groomer in salons.
The specialty ” Cynology” provides for the application of the acquired skills both at the main place of work and on a part-time basis. A qualified dog specialist is always in demand, has a decent salary and will find himself in any sphere of life.
After graduating from the college, there is an opportunity to pursue studies for bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Odesa State Agrarian University.
The aim of the College is to provide multidisciplinary training in the areas of tribal organization, training and training centres for special purpose dogs, in particular search, detection and rescue dogs; The organization and holding of exhibitions at various levels and the maintenance of relevant documentation.
Students study almost 30 specialized subjects, technological practices and perform independent work.
The famous graduates – Aleksandr Viktorovich Konovalov, Police Lieutenant Colonel, participant in the war in Kosovo. Our graduates, such as Marina Podgurskaya and Denis Money, work in the canine center at the Ukrainian State Department of Internal Affairs in Odesa oblast.
