Why is it necessary to apply the speciality “Agroengineering”
The Faculty of Engineering and Economy has been training highly qualified specialists in the operation and repairing of tractors, automobiles and other agricultural machinery since 1983 (Bachelor and Master graduate educational level). About 3000 graduates have graduated during the existence of the faculty.
In order to convert school-leavers to mechanical engineers, students study 50 subjects of humanities, general and technical, and professional competences:
humanities create students’ worldviews;
general and technical competences: (on the basis of geometry, theory of mechanics and machines, computer technology etc.) form engineering thinking and the ability to perform engineering calculations using personal computers;
professional knowledge of future engineers makes possible to develop the ability to operate and repair agricultural machinery, as well as to design new efficient means of agricultural mechanization.
