On March 23, an environmental workshop on the application of 3D printing technologies was held at the R&D Center for Student Initiatives of the Odesa State Agrarian University. The event was an initiative of the university as a partner of the international project \u201cLess vulnerability, more adaptability \u2013 pilot remote sensing assisted restoration of green spaces in coastal and urban areas within the Black sea region\u201d (MoreAdaptBSB) funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme.<\/p>\n
The workshop brought together students, academic staff, civil sector representatives, and all those interested in engaging with modern environmental initiatives. Participants had the opportunity to see firsthand how environmentally friendly products can be created using a 3D printer. The demonstration of printing symbolic models, including the official logo of the MoreAdaptBSB project and a tree as a symbol of sustainable development, sparked lively interest and served as a clear example of combining innovation with environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n
Assistant Project Manager and Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, Andrii Maiev, spoke about the progress of the project being implemented at the university in cooperation with international partners. He emphasized the importance of active youth participation in environmental initiatives and highlighted that only through joint efforts meaningful progress in environmental protection is achieved.\u00a0He also outlined the key features of the New European Bauhaus \u2013 a movement that combines sustainable development, aesthetics, and social inclusion to increase interest in relevant initiatives.<\/p>\n
The workshop became not only a platform for exploring innovative technologies but also a space for sharing ideas, inspiration, and fostering environmental awareness. Together, we can do more to protect the environment and promote sustainable development!<\/p>\n
