Today, April 20, 2023, in a mixed format of face-to-face and remote participation on the basis of the Odesa State Agrarian University, the launch conference for the “UA BGrowth” Hackaton – a competition for the best business ideas for projects and startups of the innovative Blue Economy of the Odesa region, was held as part of of the project “Digital Network of Blue Economy and Innovation Acceleration” (Project Acronym: DBAN Project Number: 101077599), financed by the European Union through the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (European Executive Agency for Climate, Infrastructure and Environment).<\/p>\n
The organizer is individual entrepreneur Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Parashchenko. Partner \u2014 Odesa State Agrarian University.<\/p>\n
At today’s conference, the goals, tasks, activities, terms of participation in the competition, details and terms of the Hackaton were announced.<\/p>\n
The expected results of the conference are an increase in awareness, motivation of young people and the public, regarding the possibility and perspective of their participation in the Hackaton competition of the blue growth strategy of the region, as well as the opportunity to contribute to the development of the blue economy of the region, receiving valuable experience, support and a chance to realize their business idea.<\/p>\n
Also winners of Hackathon will have great opportunity to go through Mentoring guide for blue economy innovators, which was developed by Southeast Digital Innovation Hub (Republic of Bulgaria) and will be implemented by high qualified specialists in the field.<\/p>\n
