HISTORY OF THE CHAIR
At the warehouse of the Odessa Sylkogospodarsky Institute, the Department of Epizootology was organized at the end of 1945. Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Kateryna Semenivna Shulyumova became the first manager.
In 1963, the department was cleared by the Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Ivan Oleksiyovich Izmailov. At that hour, the graduate students of Buli Maybutnі professors Evgen Ivanovich Buryak and Valentin Yakimovich Atamas.
Send to Professor I. O. Izmailova retired from the department as associate Professor Mikola Ivanovich Fedotov.
In 1985, the Department of Epizootology was reformed by Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Valentin Yakimovich Atamas, who gave her up to 25 years.
In 1988, the Department of Microbiology was assigned to the Department, and in 1992 the Course of Pharmacology was transferred to the Department of Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise.
The Department of Epizootology and Microbiology until 1996 developed the rock and the potential of the professorial-Vikladatsky warehouse at that hour by the greatest department of the Institute of Ukraine. Up to the її warehouse consisted of five doctors of sciences, assistant professors, chotiri assistant.
Based on the curriculum of Professor V. Ya. Atamas, a scientific and basic laboratory of epizootology, microbiology and virology was possessed, a material and technical basis for carrying out the processes of scientific recollection was established. In 2001, the Department of Parasitology was transferred to the warehouse of the Department of Epizootology, since 1973, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Ivan Lukich Taranenko, a participant of the Great Victory Day and Fight for Odesa’s health.
From 2011 to 2015, the Department of Epizootology and Parasitology of the Department of Veterinary Science and Pharmacology. On the 1st spring of 2015, the Department of Epizootology and Parasitology was oiled, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences Oleg Grigorovich Humenny, student and apprentice of Professor V. Ya. Atamas.
For the decisions of Academic Council of the Odessa State Agrarian University in 2019, the Department of Epizootology and Parasitology was assigned the name of Professor V. Ya. Atamas.
On May 12, 2020, the doctor of veterinary sciences, professor Panikar Igor Ihorovich was appointed to the position of the head of the department. prof. Atamasya V. Ya. Panikar I. I. the author and co-author of 150 scientific works, as well as 8 handbooks and books, 11 patents for wines, 6 methodical boxes, 3 monographs and two atlases and ailments of food.
At the link from the reorganization of the faculty of veterinary medicine and the submission to the department of disciplines of veterinary microbiology and veterinary virology, a decision was made about changing the name of the department. Based decision to the team of the department and the order of the rector of the university № 499-zag. from 23.12.2020 to the rock, the department named it from the following editorial board: “Epizootology, parasitology and microbiology named after Professor V. Ya. Atamas”.
At the present hour, the team of victories in the department of works on the perfection of the educational process and the development of the quality of the educational services by way of the beginning of the initial process and the practical preparation of the social science and technology in veterinary medicine,
Practical training of health care providers is carried out during an hour of primary practices and general practice on the basis of the state gifts of the Holy See of Ukraine, with which an agreement has been laid down on health education, training in victories and practice for health education.
The provincial victories of the department must enter the warehouse of the group for the preparation of health workers for the educational and professional training program for specialties 211 “Veterinary medicine”, and the head of the department is Panikar I. I. є The guarantor of the centrality of the educational programs.
Department of Epizootology, Parasitology and Microbiology named after Professor V. Ya. Atamas.
The department is basic for training for the educational and scientific program of training doctors of philosophy (PhD), and the head of the department is Professor Panikar I. I. the guarantor of the educational and scientific programs of training for specialty 211 “Veterinary medicine”.
The department will provide two scientific topics:
- “Prognostic assessment of the epizootology of infectious diseases of food and birds, the development of methods, using and organizing principles of prevention and management in Ukraine”.
- “Parasitocenosis of twains, birds and ribs in the Ukraine”.
There is also a team of visitors to the state policy: “Monitoring of toxicological indicators in feed for homemade food”.
At the department, a successful student science nagging circle was organized, which I will call: “Yuniy Skryabin”. Students are engaged in scientific robotics, as at other people they can learn more in detail about such disciplines – parasitology and special parasitology, and in the past they are stuck in science skills from those who are prepared by magical robots.
