Professional training is provided by the departments: geodesy and nature management and land management and cadastre. The teaching staff of the departments numbers 16 people, including: 3 doctors of sciences, professors, 8 associate professors, candidates of sciences. Teachers constantly participate in international conferences, symposia, seminars, workshops.
The specialty is provided with the most modern geodetic instruments (GPS-receivers Leica, electronic total stations from Leica, Sokkia and Trimble, photogrammetric system Leica) and software: Arc Gis, ArcView, AutoCad, CGT, Gis 6, Digitals, Invent Grad; Machcad; TOPOGRAD and others.
Our university is one of the best technically and technologically equipped in Ukraine, with two computer labs and modern geodetic instruments purchased with the financial assistance of the World Bank in Ukraine. OSAU effectively cooperates with leading faculties and research institutes of the UIC countries, students undergo educational and industrial practices in Germany, Austria, France, Great Britain.
